Happy Independence Day!

Cedarbrook Wishes You a Happy Independence Day!

First, we hope everyone has a happy Independence day! As we celebrate our Country’s Independence with fireworks, picnics, and parties we have one American to thank for our amazing celebration, John Adams, a founding father, who wrote to his wife Abigail Adams on July 3rd, 1776 stating that our Independence should be commemorated with “Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of the Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.”  Cedarbrook has some terrific ideas to get your party started just as our Founding Father would have wanted!

DECKorate your Outdoor Living Space in 4th of July Style!

Happy Independence Day!

Festive DECKorations are a must for every 4th of July party and the table is always the focal point of every occasion.  Jazz it up with a patriotic table cloth; place painted red, white and blue Mason jars in the center of the table filled with flowers (carnations come in many colors) or fill up unpainted jars with red, white and blue gumballs.  Wrap napkins with miniature flags or colorful ribbon and insert a box of sparklers for an added patriotic effect.

Happy Independence Day!

Seating for guests can add a touch of 4th of July style with red, white and blue Adirondack chairs or dress up your outdoor seating with red, white and blue pillows.  Tie patriotic buntings around the top rails of your deck or wrap your balusters with red, white and blue streamers.  Hanging lanterns from your Pergola also adds some patriotic flare. Let the party start!
