Team Cedarbrook has chosen out favorite custom outdoor projects and they are all stunners! Just look at these beautiful backyard transformations!
Jon’s Favorite – Outdoor Kitchen, Patio, and Waterfall in Union Bridge, MD
This amazing retreat is covered with 1665 Sq. ft of Classic Belgard Mega Pavers. This project showcases a gorgeous outdoor kitchen with bar seating, large patio, and a pond-less waterfall. There is more than ample space to host a small party with the patio, and the retaining walls tie in beautifully with the surrounding environment making this Jon’s favorite Cedarbrook project!
Charlie’s Winner – Porch, Deck, and Patio, in Frederick, MD
Charlie just loves this 1007 Sq. ft multi-level covered porch! Completely decked out in Fiberon’s Horizon Ipe, the layout gently flows from one level to the next. The upper level offers a covered porch while the next lower levels enjoy full sun and a step down to a lower patio area. Fiberon’s Ipe works beautifully with the home’s color and the porch addition’s roof ties in perfectly with the homes existing roof.
Mike’s Pick – Screened Porch, Deck, Patio, Firepit, and Pergola in Gaithersburg, MD
This project has it all! The screened-in porch offers a generous 20’ x 18’ additional living space. Decked out with Azek’s Vintage Mahogany, the screened-in porch also has 2 fans and recessed lighting, making it the perfect outdoor living room. Coming off the screened porch are a set of specialty flared stairs leading to a paver patio that offers both a pergola and fire pit. A 12’ x 16’ Sq. ft deck in Azek Vintage Mahogany also overlooks the property making this project the complete package!
Kristen’s Perfect Project – Porch, Deck, Patio, Fire Pit, and Retaining Wall in Frederick, MD
This multi-level deck, patio, and firepit in Urbana makes great use of this sloping backyard. This project has over 1300 Sq. ft of Fiberon’s Ipe decking and close to 500 Sq. ft of Nicolock Stone Ridge and Stone Ridge XL pavers in Oyster blend. The upper level has a gable roof with covered porch that provides shelter from the elements while still having an open area for those sunny days. The patio provides privacy and is terrific for entertaining or relaxing. The retaining wall and landscaping are added features to enhance this already beautiful outdoor space.
Michele’s Selection – Ipe Deck and Patio in Damascus, MD
This beauty is constructed with natural Ipe (pronounced ee-pay), also known as Brazilian Walnut. This decking material is 3x harder than Cedar and carries the same fire rating as steel or concrete. This wood is resistant to fungus, rot, and wood boring insects. The patio is constructed with Nicolock Stone Ridge Pavers in Carmel Tan and includes custom made planters and retaining walls. The underbelly of the deck has a rain diversion system that diverts water away from the home making the area below a dry space perfect for entertaining rain or shine.
Chad’s Choice – Deck and Gazebo in Elkridge, MD
This 573 Sq. ft TimberTech Antique Palm deck with a 13’ x 13’ screened-in gazebo is great for sun and shade. The stairs are wide, flared, and have lighting. Lighting is a smart option for not only enjoying your deck at night but also for safety purposes. The Gazebo is large enough for a table, perfect for enjoying a rainy night or private enough for a hot tub.
